The PrePre Show is a late night variety show that aired on Twitch over the weekend of E3, from 2017 through 2019. It’s a full 12 hours of content, beginning on the evening of Twitch’s first day of E3 coverage, playing through the night, and leading into the next day.
Heavily inspired by things like Adult Swim and The Eric Andre Show, The PrePre Show consists of indie games, films, animation, comedians, musicians, Twitch Streamers, and even Pro Wrestlers…all mashed up into a bizarre fever dream of delightful chaos.
For the “First Ever 3rd or 4th” iteration of the show in 2019, I worked as Lead Producer, Creative Director, Art Director, Co-writer…you name it. I designed and created everything from the animated bumpers, broadcast graphics, and “wheel spin” animations, down to the set, props, and “TV wall” music backdrop. Additionally, I designed the custom “Click Simulator” extension that ran through the entire show, including the interface and graphic icons.
Throughout the show, the host would make guests spin a wheel (which was blank…) to decide what game or activity they would be participating in. I designed short, fun, weird animations to announce the result of each “wheel spin”.
