Twitch Studios is the in house production team at Twitch.tv, creating live & post produced original content.
I created this short animated bumper to be used in edits of Twitch Studios productions. To emphasize our broad abilities as a full fledged production team, I applied the familiar phrase “Light, camera, action!” to our beloved Glitch character-logo.
“Twitch” logotype animation previously created by the very talented Matt Gravish

A fun side project taken on as a way to explore some animation and texturing techniques in C4D.
The subject of financial aid is typically a dry, if not intimidating one. UW-Help needed a way to open a dialogue with prospective students that wouldn't scare them away from the idea.
While working for UW Extension I helped them to polish their message, developed visual concepts and art styles, and produced and animated a piece that was attractive and engaging for its audience.
Roche, an international pharmaceutical research company, needed a fun and exciting way to kick off their Global Digital Summit, a massive industry conference in Switzerland.
Working along side Joel Berroteran at Little Red Robot SF, we developed and produced an animated video highlighting Roche's commitment to progress and innovation.
Role: Story boards, art direction, design/illustration, animation

My Aug./Sept. submission to "Loop de Loop". The theme was "Childhood". For a while as a kid I was always trying to move stuff with my mind...never quite go it to work...
I had the pleasure of working with FirstPerson on this fun (mostly) hand animated piece for Cisco. The art direction by Nathan Campbell was fantastic as always, and this project was a lot of fun to work on and a great opportunity to practice hand drawn animation techniques. I was responsible for the the picture frame and elevator scene (0:26 - 0:35), as well as the ending transition of the phone booth (0:49).
Just for fun! Some experiments with shapes and movement.
While working at UW-Extension, myself and Conor Grebel had the opportunity to create an animation intended to get middle and high school students thinking about College.
We were given lots of creative freedom, and had fun designing, illustrating and animating what turned out to be a fun and successful project.
I had the pleasure of working with the great folks at First Person on this Launch video for Google Drive for Work. It highlights some of the new apps and security features for businesses. It was released to coincide with Google's I/O developer conference 2014.

Wisconsin Public Television approached me to create an animation based on a story from their 'Wisconsin Life' radio program. I selected a segment in which Dave Cieslewicz, former Mayor of Madison, WI, shares his love of sheepshead as part of Wisconsin Life’s look at games.
The Transform Wisconsin Fund works toward encouraging healthy lifestyle choices in Wisconsin communities. They approached myself and Conor Grebel looking for a short animated piece to highlight and promote some of their new grant-based initiatives.
Role: design & Illustration
Animated video created for the University of Wisconsin System Campuses, intended to introduce and explain the basic concepts behind the new Flexible Degree program.

Promotional video for HealthFinch Inc. promoting their new prescription refill management software, "Refill Wizard" to doctors and medical professionals.
The video was a prominent feature in HealthFinch's presentation at the 2013 Allscripts Open App Challenge , where they took first place and were awarded $250,000.

A selection of prints designed and hand screen printed as part of Animal Canon, a design and print collaboration.
CD packaging, logo, and shirt graphic developed for Chicago based hip-hop, jazz-fusion band Sidewalk Chalk.
Large scale sculpture-painting installations, placed throughout the grounds of the Rock County Folk Symposium, a small scale music festival held along the Rock River in Wisconsin.
Each canvas was hand build from salvaged and donated wood, and painted with a mystical, musical woodland spirit animal.
A fun exercise in digital painting techniques, taking the many drawings filling my sketchbooks and push them into more realized illustrations. More to come...
The Rock County Folk Symposium is a small scale indie music festival held along the Rock River in Janesville, WI.
The festival is a celebration of local music, friendship, and nature. The festivals founder and host, a musician and farmer, graciously provides an ample supply of his signature crop, roasted sweet corn.

Submission for the "Alternate Endings" poster show, organized by Silver Screen Society. Artists were asked to conceive and illustrate an alternate ending to a film.
I chose the classic "King Kong", depicting Kong enjoying New York as a happy tourist, rather than plummeting to his death from the Empire State Building.
My submission to Silver Screen Society, an illustration blog that asks artists to create a piece relating to different film each month.
I was assigned "Requiem for a Dream", and chose to reference the mother character and her psychological unraveling that begins with her obsession with television.
