Snake Eyes - Looping music visualizer

“Snake Eyes” the initial result of an ongoing collaboration between myself and a musician friend. The concept is simple: He makes a handful of looping tracks, and then I pick one and create a visual accompaniment. To me this track felt dreamy and mystical, but in a whimsical, cartoonish way.

This was a great chance to explore a more stylized look. While everything is done in 3d (minus the background), I really wanted to give it an organic, illustrative, and tactile feel. Looking forward to expanding on this series even further…
